Project Details
The design team for this project collaborated to create a unique building by balancing Honda’s functional requirements with sustainable alternatives and worked closely to resolve complicated design issues and balance the life cycle costs. Their work was successful as the 228,000 SF distribution/training center earned LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The project design maximizes storm water management and minimizes the building’s impact on the site. The building’s plan utilizes day lighting and exterior views and includes internal mechanical and electrical systems that conserve energy while providing a comfortable and productive working environment.
The design features a 35,000 SF mezzanine, 17,000 SF of office space, 26,000 SF of training space, and a 150,000 SF warehouse.
