Project Details

Group Mackenzie provided full design services for the Staples Fulfillment Center at Southshore Corporate Park. The Phase I development included design and construction of a 200,000 SF concrete tilt-up building with a 36' interior clear height. The building is situated on a 22-acre parcel, allowing for a 250,000 SF future expansion, currently in the design phase. The building features a complex system of roof-supported conveyors and floor-supported mezzanines for Staples' automated distribution and product storage system. Also included in the design is 12,000 SF of office space and a 2,000 SF shipping and receiving office.
