Company Culture 

Group Mackenzie employs a talented and diverse group of people. Our firm represents multiple generations of individuals with different backgrounds, cultures, and educations. We embrace the unique qualities and differences that these individuals bring to the workplace and celebrate this through companywide, on- and off-site work events. Group Mackenzie sponsors group athletics, MacMeetings, family picnics, and other team-building activities that promote and encourage respect, creativity, and personal and professional growth, making our firm a fun environment in which to work and play.

MacMeeting

To facilitate a team-building environment, Group Mackenzie has monthly MacMeetings, which include an educational component about company projects. The meetings provide opportunities for staff to present their ideas, as well as teach, inform, and share their work with the entire staff.

 

Team meetings

Weekly staff meetings include coffee, fresh fruit, donuts and bagels. These informational meetings at our corporate headquarters consist of announcements, staff recognition, new projects, and sporting and social events. Branch offices participate through remote video conferencing.

 

Social functions

Each year, Group Mackenzie holds summer lunchtime barbecues, a summer family picnic, and a winter holiday party.

 

Group sports and events

Sports teams and social events allow employees to build lifelong friendships outside of work. Our employees enjoy company-sponsored sporting events and unofficial social gatherings. These include happy hours, karaoke, softball and soccer teams, annual golf match play and scramble events, and other sport leagues and community events.

 

Commute options

Group Mackenzie encourages employees to bike, run, walk, or use other alternative modes of transportation to get to work. We provide lockers and shower facilities for employees’ needs.

 

Community service opportunities
