Project Details
Coaxis, a leading software development and management firm, relocated from two buildings in a suburban setting to this converted warehouse in Portland’s Central Eastside Industrial District. The completed design transformed a cavernous warehouse into a creative, high-energy workspace. While primarily open office space, the design includes an executive area, training room, breakroom, support spaces, and a workout area. Design efforts focused on crafting a new identity for the space while preserving existing visually striking elements. Exposed columns and polished concrete floors recall the building’s original purpose and form the basis for the sleek design. Accent clouds define workspaces within the open layout. Silver finishes with accents of blue and green reflect the building's waterfront setting, while warmer tones soften the warehouse ambience.
