Civil Engineering

Group Mackenzie's civil engineering department maintains a steady roster of clients who rely on our expertise for site development, major utility design, community infrastructure, and roadway and green street design. Our civil practice is a balance of public works and private development. This mix puts us in the position to understand the unique challenges and objectives of each type of client. A number of our engineers are LEED Accredited Professionals, and we focus on integrating sustainable design principles into our projects. We have a unique understanding of the design development process, enhanced by the multidisciplinary nature of our firm. The daily interaction between engineering and architectural staff adds value to all of our civil projects and clearly differentiates our civil engineering practice from other engineering firms.

Our civil expertise includes drainage and water supply systems; storm water treatment; site development design; and pedestrian walkway, roadway, and green street planning, analysis, and design.
