Buckley Fire Station

Project Details

Group Mackenzie developed a needs assessment and conceptual design, forecasted project costs, and created materials to aid in the bond campaign efforts for the development of a new 21,232 SF station for the City of Buckley. A visioning session with the Department and community members provided exterior design inspiration and input to help ensure a design for the facility that would fit its context and meet the needs of the growing volunteer department. After voter approval of the bond levy in May 2010, Group Mackenzie continued to work with the Department to develop construction documents and guide the project through permitting, bidding, and construction. Completion of construction is slated for April 2012.
